Viale Carducci in Viareggio on a sunny day: cars parked on both sides of the street, palm trees and the seafront buildings

Parking in Viareggio Where to leave your car, near the Passeggiata

We don't have private parking, but we'll help you find a space. In front of the building, on Viale Carducci, you pay to park. Here you'll find the two options, what they cost and how easy it is to find a space, based on our experience.

  • Daily €12
  • Weekly €25
  • We'll take care of the permit

Two permits, two ways to park.

Viale Carducci is in zona B of the paid parking area (blue-line spaces). You can choose between the daily permit and the weekly permit: they differ in price and in the spaces you can use.

Daily permit

€12 a day

Where
All along Viale Carducci, including the sea side.
Finding a space
Easier, because you can use the sea side too. In summer, though, it's still fairly tricky: expect to circle the block a few times.
For a week
7 days at €12: €84 in total.
How to pay
At the parking meter, entering your full license plate number: coins, debit card or credit card. Or with the MoVer Viareggio app, with no ticket to display. Or we'll take care of it.

Weekly permit

€25 a week

Where
On the building side of Viale Carducci and in the nearby streets, in zona B. Not in the sea-side spaces.
Finding a space
Harder: there are few empty spaces. Usually you wait for one to open up, park, and then it's best not to move the car again.
Worth it if
You're staying at least three days and don't need the car much: it costs less than three daily permits.
How to buy
Online, on the Mover website. Or we'll take care of it.

Rates and rules from Mover, the company that manages parking for the City of Viareggio, checked on October 14, 2026. The sign on the street always takes precedence. How easy it is to find a space is based on our own experience.

Where your permit is valid, street by street.

Zona B runs from Via Marco Polo to Piazza D'Azeglio: Viale Carducci, Viale Buonarroti (which runs parallel to it), Viale Manin, and the side streets and squares in between. Choose a permit and see on the map where you can park.

Choose a permit

With the daily permit you can park in the blue-line spaces throughout zona B, including the sea side of Viale Carducci and Viale Manin.

With the weekly permit you can park in the blue-line spaces throughout zona B, but not on the sea side of Viale Carducci and Viale Manin.

  • Your permit is valid here
  • Sea side of Viale Carducci and Viale Manin: daily permit only
  • Passeggiata: pedestrian-only, no cars allowed

In summer, spaces are scarce throughout the zone: the permit doesn't reserve a space. The sign on the street always takes precedence.

Which one suits you, in practice.

It depends on how long you're staying and how much you use the car.

  1. You're staying one or two days, or you use the car often

Choose the daily permit: you can park on the sea side too and, when you come back, you'll find a space more easily.

  2. You're staying three days or more and don't need the car much

The weekly permit costs less. It takes a little patience to find a space: once you do, leave the car there and get around on foot or by bike.

  3. You're staying a week and want the sea side too

Seven daily permits, €84 in total: you spend more, but you'll find a space more easily. If you like, we'll take care of it.

  4. You're coming in summer

The daily permit is still the more convenient choice, but even so, finding a space takes patience. Message us before you travel: we'll tell you how to plan ahead.

When you pay, and how much.

Outside these hours, parking in the blue-line spaces is free. Always check the sign.

  • 15 minutes free to unload your luggage: take the free ticket from the parking meter and display it on the dashboard. After the 15 minutes, you can't use another free ticket on the same street: if you leave the car there, you pay for parking.

Good to know before you arrive.

Four things that save you a fine or a wasted drive.

The Passeggiata is pedestrian-only

  • The camera gates read your license plate: you can't drive in, not even to unload. One of the gates is at the corner of Viale Carducci and Via Gioia.
  • Viale Carducci, on the other hand, is open to cars: you can drive right up to the building.

During Carnival

  • The parade route passes in front of the building. The City usually bans parking along the avenues on the route.
  • The 2027 rules haven't been published yet: we'll send them to you. We recommend arriving the day before the parade.

Motorcycles and scooters

  • You can't park them in the blue-line spaces.
  • There are dedicated spaces on the side streets between Viale Carducci and the Passeggiata.

Without a car

  • Viareggio train station is 1.3 km from us, and Pisa airport 36 km. For how to get here, see Useful info.
  • In town you get around on foot or by bike: there's a private bike spot inside the property.

Questions about parking.

Can't find yours? Message us: we'll answer personally.

Does Suite Carducci Viareggio have private parking?

We don't have private parking, but we'll help you find a space. In front of the building, on Viale Carducci, you park on the street in the blue-line spaces, with the daily permit or the weekly permit. If you like, we'll buy the permit for you.

How much does it cost to park on Viale Carducci?

The daily permit costs €12 a day and is valid along the whole avenue, including the sea side. The weekly permit costs €25 and is valid in zona B, on the building side of Viale Carducci and in the nearby streets, but not in the sea-side spaces. By the hour, you pay €1 for the first hour and €2 for each hour after that, up to €12 a day.

Which permit makes it easier to find a space?

The daily permit, because you can also use the sea-side spaces. With the weekly permit there are few empty spaces: usually you wait for one to open up, park, and then it's best not to move the car again. In summer, with either permit, finding a space takes patience.

Can you buy the permit for me?

Yes. Before you travel, send us your car's license plate and model and tell us which permit you prefer: we'll buy it for you. The permit doesn't reserve a space, but when you arrive you're already covered. We pay for it up front, and you pay us back in cash when you leave.

Can I drive up to the building's front door?

Yes: Viale Carducci is open to cars. The Passeggiata, however, is pedestrian-only and monitored by cameras that read license plates: you can't drive in there, not even to unload your luggage.

What are the paid parking hours?

From April 20 to September 30, every day from 8 am to midnight. The rest of the year, Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 8 pm, and Friday to Sunday from 8 am to midnight. The sign on the street always takes precedence.

How does parking work during Carnival?

On parade days the route passes in front of the building, and the City usually bans parking along the avenues on the route. The 2027 rules haven't been published yet: we'll send them to you. We recommend arriving the day before the parade.

Can I come without a car?

Yes. Viareggio train station is 1.3 km from us, and Pisa airport 36 km. In town you get around on foot or by bike: there's a private bike spot inside the property.
