Viareggio Carnival 2027 The floats parade right past your door

Six parades, from January 30 to February 20, 2027. Suite Carducci Viareggio is on the parade route: with your ticket in your pocket, you step out the front door and you're already among the floats. The home is on the ground floor, on Viareggio's seafront promenade: 78 m², two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a private patio, up to six guests.

The Carnival, from the inside.

The building is on the avenue where the floats parade. You don't have to cross town to get there, and when you want a break, your home is right there.

  • You're already on the route

The parades run along the seafront, right in front of the building: step out the front door and you're there.

  • The car stays put

Suite Carducci Viareggio doesn't have private parking, but we'll help you find a space. Arrive the day before, park once and then do everything on foot.

  • A break whenever you want

A parade lasts about three hours. Home is just steps away: something warm, the bathroom, a quick change for the kids, and you're back out.

  • Six of you, each with your own space

Two double bedrooms, two sofa beds and two bathrooms: the group stays together without feeling cramped.

“From the apartment you could watch the wonderful Carnival (but the floats are far too big, so of course it's better to see the Carnival outside), and from the comfort of the sofa you could watch the magnificent fireworks. […] And sorry for all the confetti in the apartment.”

Before you travel, things to know.

Tickets

  • During the parades, entry to the circuit requires a ticket. You need one even if you're staying inside the circuit, so that includes you.
  • Always message us before you buy it: we'll advise you. Then you can buy it online, on the official website, or at the ticket offices.
  • Children up to 1.20 m (3 ft 11 in) tall enter free; reduced tickets are available for older children.

Times and route

  • The parades start at 3 pm, 4 pm or 5 pm, depending on the date, and last about three hours.
  • The floats circle the seafront in a loop, along Viale Marconi and Viale Carducci.
  • The public entrances are at Piazza Mazzini, Via Vespucci, Via Saffi, Viale Marconi and Viale Margherita.

Getting here and parking

  • Arrive the day before the parade, never on the morning itself: on parade days traffic is rerouted and there are fewer parking spaces.
  • We don't have private parking, but we'll help you find a space: message us before you travel. Meanwhile, in the Viareggio parking guide you'll find the most convenient public parking.
  • The train is easier: Viareggio station is 1.3 km away.

With kids

  • Strollers are allowed inside the circuit (not in the grandstands).
  • Home is just steps from the floats: come back for a snack or a nap whenever you like.
  • A crib and high chair are available in the home on request: ask two days before you arrive.

Beyond the parades

  • At the Cittadella del Carnevale, about 2.5 km away, you'll find the Carnival Museum: on parade days it's open in the morning only, from 9 am to 1 pm.
  • From February 5 to 9 there's Carnevaldarsena, the neighborhood festival in the Darsena: about a ten-minute walk from the home.

Your stay

  • The minimum stay is two nights, on parade dates too.
  • Check-in is from 5 pm. Arrive the day before the parade, never on the morning itself: that way you enjoy the party from the start. Need to get in before 5 pm? Ask us: whenever possible, we'll make it work.
  • When you book you pay a 20% deposit; the balance is due 14 days before arrival.

Tickets, times, route and entrances come from the official Viareggio Carnival website (FAQ and tickets, in Italian); the Carnevaldarsena dates from carnevaldarsena.it. We checked them on October 10, 2026: before you travel, check the latest program.
