In winter, the sea is all yours.

From October to March the beach is almost empty: you can walk for kilometers on the sand, the sun sets early over the sea and the Apuan Alps rise behind the city.

  • The beach to yourself

Long walks on the sand, from morning to sunset.

  • A coffee by the sea

Some bars and restaurants by the sea stay open in winter too: ask us which ones.

  • Then back home, where it's warm

Heating in every room, and quiet bedrooms facing the inner courtyard.

  • Carnival, from January 30

The floats parade right in front of the building, a few steps from the sea. See the Carnival dates.
