Events: Carnival and the Puccini Festival<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two events, more than any others, tell the story of Viareggio:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>The Viareggio Carnival:<\/strong> in 2027 there are six parades, from January 30 to February 20, and the floats pass right in front of the building.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>The Puccini Festival (in summer):<\/strong> in Torre del Lago, 6 km from the apartment, Giacomo Puccini&#8217;s operas are staged in the large open-air theater on the shore of the lake he loved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Carnival, three tips: arrive the day before the parade, never on the morning of the parade; you need a ticket even if you&#8217;re staying on the parade route; and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.suitecarducciviareggio.com\/en\/contact-us\/\">message us<\/a> before you buy tickets.
